Parent Testimonials
I am so grateful for the opportunity you have provided for the monthly Parent Night. As busy parents it’s all too often that we focus all of our energies into our children and other vital responsibilities (which is how it should be) but sometimes we don’t take time out to invest in our partners, which is equally as important.
One of my personal goals this year was to make a monthly date night with my husband and I was happily surprised to learn about Parent’s Night Out. We have very few family members in the area who can watch our precious little one, so this is a gift we can look forward to each month. It gives us a time to reconnect and enjoy quality one-on-one time while having the peace of mind that our son is in great hands, in a place that he loves. That means more to us than you know. The price is extremely reasonable and includes dinner and activities. We know our child is safe and happy and we also have the chance to enjoy a night out on the town. And, when parents are happy, our kids are happy too. It’s a win-win situation.
I truly encourage other parents to take advantage of the opportunity and to share this monthly event with friends and family. It would be great to continue this wonderful event and I thank you again from the bottom of my heart for making this event possible. We appreciate your efforts!
Sincerely,
Olivia, Andy and Alejandro
I would recommend The Phoenix Schools to anyone. We had bad experiences at two other preschools and were very wary about taking our daughter to another one, but from the first day we brought her to the Busy Bees classroom we felt at ease leaving our daughter there. Both of her teachers were so good with the children and we could tell that they love what they do and genuinely care about the kids. Over the last two years we have found that all the teachers are wonderful as well as the directors. We have always felt comfortable talking with them about anything concerning our daughter and know that she is in a safe, fun environment where she has positive experiences that are building her self confidence and self esteem. Kaitlyn has tons of friends and has a lot of fun at school. We are also confident that she is getting a great early childhood education and that she will be more than adequately prepared for kindergarten. She knows all of her letters and sounds and can write her name and knows the numbers to twenty, plus many other things. The cook is great, too, and I never worry about whether she is eating nutritious meals when she is at Phoenix.

The Phoenix Schools has been a part of our “family” for 5 years. When we had our first son, EJ, we were so scared to leave him at daycare. I still remember crying all the way to work. But once I witnessed how much love and care Miss Helene gave him it made the fear go away. EJ attended Phoenix from the time he was 6 months old until the summer before Kindergarten. During his time with the The Phoenix Schools family he has had excellent teachers that worked with him on several goals: using his words, potty training, learning how to cut, his alphabet and sounds. As a Kindergarten teacher I could not have been more pleased with the curriculum and Miss Helen’s preparation into Kindergarten. EJ also gained lasting friendships that are with him today.
Creighton began Phoenix as a baby too. He was also blessed to have Miss Helene take care of him. Creighton had medical issues that the staff worked around making us feel that he was in safe hands. Miss Katrina and Miss Favi are special people in Creighton’s eyes. He talks about them all the time and they have worked very hard with Creighton on potty training and communicating his feelings. I look forward to seeing him show more growth with his time at Phoenix.
As for my husband and I we could not be more pleased with our choice we made 5 years ago. The Phoenix Schools is not just a place I drop off my children but it’s like a second home. Miss Kim, Miss Marcena, and the staff know not only all the children but each family member too. If anyone were to ask me where they should send their child I would have no problem recommending this Phoenix school.
Thank You,
Elizabeth A.
I have wanted to send this e-mail since the first week Otto started school... but with my busy schedule I never got to it.
I just want to tell you how happy my husband and I are with our choice to enroll Otto in your school. We noticed that Otto is very happy when he gets home and he is already doing all kinds of goofy kid stuff. Very cute. We are very impressed with all the teachers that are taking care of Otto. They were so great the first week, both Otto and I had our crying/screaming moments, but I think both of us are getting better, ha,ha,ha.
Again, please thank, all his teachers (Ms. Donna, Ms. Stacia. Ms. Angela, Ms. Mallory and Ms. Keesha) for taking such great care of our son Otto. They have no idea how much we appreciate their hard work.
See you Tuesday!
Selma, Andy and Otto A.
I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the peace of mind that you have given both me and my husband. We had visited many daycare providers before The Phoenix Schools was recommended to us. From the moment that we walked in the door we knew we were in the right place. The site was bright, open and welcoming. We were encouraged to get to know the teachers and all my many questions were answered without judgment (you were even supportive of my many phone calls the first week just to check in). In the 4 years at The Phoenix Schools we have never questioned our decision to place Joshua and two years later Kennedy in your care. It makes my husband and me happy to see how much our children love their teachers and their friends that they have made. Picking them up is the best part on my day as they excitedly give me a rundown of their day, what they learned, who they played with, what they had for lunch, etc. Now as Joshua prepares for Kindergarten I am even more grateful for the open communication from the teachers and staff about his progress and guidance about how we can help support him at home. I know that he will have a successful transition because of all the preparation and encouragement. Thank You for providing an environment for our children to thrive not only intellectually but also in their social/emotional development as well.

As a first time mother who experienced a very traumatic pregnancy, it was hard for me to enroll my daughter Reagan in school. I went to many different schools and day care centers. I sat and met with many different educators who specialized in child care and child development.
I found that the teachers and staff at the school were very understanding and comforting. This location has truly supported the idea and meaning to the phrase “Extension of the Childs home life.” I would like to express my appreciation to all of the personnel at the school. How can I begin to express my family’s gratitude for the education, dedication, patience, stable environment and professionalism that is demonstrated by all the staff members.
I truly enjoy watching the interaction between my daughter, the other students and the staff. Reagan has a special relationship with not just the teachers in her room but also the other teaches in the older children’s room and the ladies in the office. Reagan waves bye every night to all the ladies and thrives off of the interaction she has with every one at the school. Reagan has to be one of the happiest babies and I honestly think that much of this has to do with the care she receives at this physicality from all the administrators.
There has been a time were we were offered to move to another phoenix school around the corner from our home, we have decided to remain at this location which is on the other side of town because of the staff.
Every mother knows the fuzzy feeling you get when you know your child is as happy as they can be. I know that the school has achieved this with our daughter. Reagan will remain a Phoenix Baby and continue to grow with this school. I urge all parents who are looking for the best care to consider this school. I know you will not be disappointed.

My son has attended The Phoenix Schools since we relocated in October of 2006. Before enrolling him in the school I toured several others and none of them were as clean, warm and welcoming as this one. The class structure and curriculums are ideal and yet still fun for my child. They also really now how to keep the parents very much involved; there isn't a season that goes by without planned activities and/ or field trips. As a single parent without family in the area, I can honestly say The Phoenix Schools makes my life a lot easier because I know that my son is well cared for, happy and safe while I am at work. The staff is competent and kind, the facility clean, the meals are healthy and there is a balance of learning and fun. As a parent I couldn't ask for any more!

Everyone who has a child understands how difficult it is to entrust their care to someone else. When I first found The Phoenix Schools I was hesitant because it was large, and so unlike him being at home. But, when I toured the school I noticed very important details: First, it was clean, bright and cheerful. I loved the energy and camaraderie that was immediately apparent. Secondly, the staff knew every single child and parent. They took the time to ask how the birthday party was, or how someone’s mother was feeling after surgery. It felt like a family, one large and caring family with each member helping to raise each child. Third, the teachers are warm and loving, patient and kind and the curriculum teaches the children a well rounded mix of academics, social responsibility, and classroom decorum. I was beyond excited for my son to attend The Phoenix Schools; I trust the staff and I trust the other parents.
It has been nearly two years since my son started at The Phoenix Schools. Everyday he comes home singing a new song and showing me proudly his artwork, letters, and numbers that they worked on that day in class. He loves the teachers and staff. He has made friends that he will continue on with into elementary school. I am so pleased with our experience with the school. Slowly, my son is becoming a loving, intelligent, self sufficient and productive little man and I owe much of his personal accomplishments and confidence to the loving guidance of his teachers. I still hate to leave him during the day, but adulthood requires that I work; but, it helps immensely when my son BEGS to go to school, and cheers in the back seat when we pull in the parking lot. Thanks to The Phoenix Schools, my son is passionate about learning, the school experience, and caring for a diverse group of people who I would personally love to thank for their hard work, time, and love for my son in my absence. I’m thankful every day that I found The Phoenix Schools.
With Warmest Regards,

As a very fond grandmother, I would like to express my appreciation to all of the personnel at our school site. How can I begin to express our thanks for the dedication, patience, as well as the pride and professionalism that is demonstrated by all the staff members. We have enjoyed the interaction between all the folks that have come and gone in the last five years. Katie and her family have thoroughly enjoyed all of them, and will be very sorry to be leaving the Phoenix Program.
There will always be a very special place in our hearts for every one of your school staff members.

We have been The Phoenix Schools parents for 11 years. We can't imagine trusting anyone else with our children and their educational needs. The quality of the curriculum The Phoenix Schools offers is second to none. The level of care our children receive is unprecedented. We look forward to many more years of being a part of the Phoenix family.
