Joined The Phoenix Schools in 1997
 Our
Carmichael Campus is a licensed child care
center providing care for children 6 weeks
through Kindergarten readiness and School Age
children. We are located on the corner of
Marconi and Garfield. We are excited to offer
an outstanding curriculum program which includes
Zoo Phonics, Math Their Way, D’nealian, Baby
Signs, Science, Social Studies, Kindness
Curriculum, Literature, Spanish and Computers.
A feature that is most popular with our families
is our security coded front entrance.
We
provide 2 snacks and a hot lunch that is
prepared in our open kitchen each day.
Our
campus offers a home like environment for your
children. We have separate playgrounds for our
toddlers, early learners, preschool and school
age children that are open to allow creative
play, while our infants often go for walks
around our large campus in their buggy.
 We
provide transportation to our Folsom Phoenix
Elementary School and to 9 local elementary
schools. Our school age program provides
homework assistance, group games, computers,
arts and crafts, science, and recreation games
(basketball, air hockey, foosball and more).
Our
summer camp “The Ultimate Adventure” is
outstanding. The children will go swimming
daily in our on site pool (swim lessons provided
for children 3years and above), field trips, and
activities galore.
We pride
ourselves in being actively involved in the
community and participate in many events such as
the Elk Grove Kite fest, the Sacramento Santa
Parade, and Carmichaels Founders Day. We are
part of the local Chamber of Commerce and offer
our parents and the community monthly events,
such as: Open House, Back to School Night,
Harvest Festival, Winter Program, Parent Night
Outs, and many more. The Phoenix Schools is
proud to be a part of celebrating The Week of
the Young Child through many activities to
celebrate our children, families, staff and the
community.
We are
very proud our program and the fact that we have
been voted the “Best of the Best” in childcare
for the last five years say it all!
