Kelly Lister, School Director
I have worked for the Phoenix School since 1996 as both a Regional Director and Director. I attended Sacramento State University where I earned a degree in Liberal Studies and a California Teaching Credential. I have 2 daughters who have both benefited from the excellent preschool and elementary curriculum we provide here at The Phoenix School. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and traveling to any place where there is a beach and sun!
Brittany Hamilton, Assistant Director
From a young age, I always knew I wanted to work with children. I started with babysitting and tutoring children in math while I went to school at the local community colleges. In 2012, I acquired my first teaching job at a preschool working with ages ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old. I eventually worked my way up to become Director for a small privately owned preschool in Rancho Cordova. Looking for a change, I found the Phoenix Schools, where it has felt like home from my first day. In my free time, I play on an adult softball team and enjoy exploring the outdoors.

Karen Gisler, Teacher
I have been with the Phoenix School since 1998. I graduated from University of the Pacific with a BA in Physical Education and a minor in child development. Both my son and daughter attended Phoenix School Preschool and elementary and had a great experience which helped them be the great teenagers they are today. I started as a two year old teacher in 1998 and then moved to a three's teacher two years later. I have been in the teaching profession for over 30 years and have worked with all ages. I currently live in Folsom with my husband and two children and in our free time you can usually find me at one of my children's baseball or softball games. I enjoy reading, cooking, and hanging out with friends and family.
