Welcome to The Phoenix Schools Private Preschool in sunny Sacramento. Honored as “America’s Most Diverse City” by Time magazine, California’s capitol has much to offer culturally and historically. Surrounded by the museums, parks, and civic centers of the downtown area, our preschool and early child care center is at the heart of it all—and we’re proud to infuse the city’s robust multiculturalism and diversity into our curriculum, as well as each and every fun-filled day!
About The Phoenix Schools Private Preschool
Whether outdoors or indoors, we customize learning through play to each child’s age and developmental stage. Our campus offers a unique outdoor environment located on our roof top (not accessible to the general public), featuring two separate playgrounds: one for our infants and toddlers ages 10 months-24 months, and another larger preschool playground for children 2-6 years of age. Inside, our preschool and early child care center boasts three rooms separated by ages and stages for infants and toddlers. We also hold the largest infant and toddler license in the downtown area.
A feature that is most popular with our parents is our top-of-the-line security door code system by the front entrance.
We are proud to offer an outstanding curriculum program for infants through pre-kindergarten, which includes exiting activities like Zoo Phonics, Math Their Way, D’Nealian Block Letter Handwriting, Baby Signs, Science, Social Studies, Literature, Spanish, and Technology with our Computerized Smart Board.
- Infant Daycare (ages 6 weeks to 1 year)
- Toddler Daycare (ages 1 to 2)
- Early Childhood Learning (ages 2 to 3)
- Preschool (ages 3 to 4)
- Pre-Kindergarten (ages 4 to 5)
At The Phoenix Schools Private Preschool we believe children learn through experiences and play. That’s why each and every day we strive to expose them to an array of diverse, unique, and developmentally beneficial activities.
What Makes Us Unique
Proper nutrition is essential to successful early learning. Each day we provide breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack prepared by our personal chef. For infants we also provide infant cereal and baby food (a combination of freshly puréed in house and jarred).
Community involvement is also a big part of life at The Phoenix Schools. We are in connection with the Sacramento Downtown Partnership and our center is continuously involved in celebrations, such as a Harvest Festival, Open House, Back to School Night, Parents’ Night Out Events, and Muffins with Mom and Donuts with Dad. We enjoy giving back to the community through donations to Loaves and Fishes, as well as doing our annual Trike-A-Thon with St. Jude’s Hospital. We love celebrating “The Week of the Young Child” every April with a Ladybug theme. During this week we are devoted to celebrating the community, the children, parents, and staff members.
Our center employs respectful, experienced, upbeat, professional and qualified staff members who are clear background checks and are CPR and First Aid Certified. We view the care and safety of your child as a priority, and we will care for them as if they were one of our own. We are very proud of our program and our staff here at The Phoenix Schools. We believe that the children here are given the highest quality of care and education that can be offered in the Downtown area. We encourage you to visit our campus anytime, and we look forward to your family becoming a part of our Phoenix Family soon.
