Amy Towne, School Director
Hello! My name is Amy Towne and I have been with The Phoenix Schools for eight years. I began my career with Phoenix as a teacher, and advanced in my career into the role of assistant director and now school director. The children are the reason I started in this field, and they continue to be the reason why I love coming to work every day. I have a passion for the education of young children. It is amazing to watch their minds grow, as they learn so many new things every day. I grew up in Eugene, Oregon where I fell in love with the outdoors. I love to hike and swim, but my true love is running. I moved to the Sacramento area with my family after high school graduation. I began my college career with the dream of becoming a Kindergarten teacher, but during that time I fell in love with the education of young children. In my free time I love to hang out with my husband and our two dogs, run with my girlfriends, and you can always catch me reading a good book.
